The Joy of Christmas..

Christmas is a wonderful time of the year, where friends and loved ones come together to celebrate, enjoy and cheer. It is a time when we should reflect and appreciate the Saviors birth.  I have to say, Christmas is my favorite holiday. I have often been a late gift shopper, just for the thrill. I enjoy hopping through the stores along with others, searching for the perfect gifts...however, this year was an exception, i shopped waaay too early and now i'm twiddling my thumbs waiting for Christmas :D. Check out my seasons top items...

Leather....i love cold weather fashion, don't get me wrong...Spring and Summer are amazing, but how amazing would they be if we didn't have fall and winter to compare them with. Human beings are rarely satisfied, we wish for the cold when it's hot and we wish for the sun when it's cold. I have learned to be content with each season of life, in every aspect. The fall and winter colors, the textures (sweaters, leather e.t.c.). Nature always speaks of God's character, he doesn't like monotony, he is a very diverse God. He enjoys change and i'm sure would like each one of us to enjoy every stage in life, including his nature.

Christmas trees are like a smile, it is difficult to see one, without feeling warm and happy. I like to see trees decorated in so many unique ways.

What's Christmas without carols? Radio stations across the globe start playing their Christmas playlist, it is a refreshing thought to know that although life can be busy, we can always find time to celebrate the birth of a king....

Smokey eye look: This is an amazing look all year round, but i prefer it in the winter time..

Shimmer and glitter, it's sparkly everywhere, don't miss out on all the fun, this is the time to sparkle on :P

Cute Christmas recipes and ideas

A red pout makes me feel more festive, and totally fierce...;)

My current winter scents are J adore by Dior and Pink Sugar by Aquolina, i like them both...

Boot socks: For some reason i'm really feeling these, you can make one out of a sweater sleeve as suggested in one of the pics. They are warm and look great!

Last but not least, tend to your heart, character and mind. Always grow where you are planted, you may not be where you would like to be yet, but that is no excuse to sulk and sit on your talents. Use what you've got, right now at this minute, there is a reason for everything and God is preparing you for what he has in store but first your heart must be ready.

Finally sparkle and be your best, enjoy life, and praise God for all the blessings he has given you. Life is great and his love makes it clear that we are more than cherished...Merry Christmas!!!!!!

  2. It just show that you had a great Christmas and you did it with style. One good reason I kept on coming back because you love fashion that much that we both share the same interest. Keep it up and I will keep on coming back for more great post.
